Full Lot Description
A near pair of 1930's silver casters in Art Deco style, each of circular tapering form to a flared foot, with dentil border detail, and a domed screw top with geometric piercing. Hallmarked Gladwin Ltd., Sheffield 1936 and 1938. Maximum height 7" (18cm), weight 13.99 ozt (435 grams).

Condition Report
<li>Both appear in fairly good condition overall.
<li>Both displaying some surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing, in keeping with their age and general use.
<li>Some slightly heavier wear and little nicks around some edges and contact/scuff marks to the underside of foot rim.
<li>Screw thread lids appear a good fit.
<li>One caster appears very slightly taller.
<li>Hallmarks located below the rims with part hallmarks to both lids. These partly rubbed but all still legible.
<li>The slightly taller example also with impressed maker's name to underside and numbered 5085. The other caster just with scratched numbers 5085 in same location.
