Full Lot Description
A George III small silver vinaigrette, the rounded rectangular form with loop attachment, with stippled borders enclosing foliate motif to base and weave pattern to lid, hinge opening to a silver-gilt interior and simple drill pierced grille. Hallmarked Samuel Pemberton, Birmingham 1810. Length 2.2cm, gross weight 5.3 grams.

<li>Displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing in keeping with the age and use.
<li>Some slightly heavier wear and nicks around edges and corners.
<li>Some surface rubbing to areas of decoration, causing some loss of detail, especially to areas of stippled borders.
<li>Hinges to lid and grille all appear in working order and close securely.
<li>Grille is a little stiff to open and feels quite a tight fit.
<li>Some residues of previous polish, and some dirt and heavier tarnishing to interior and grille.
<li>Hallmarks located to interior, some part rubbing and distortion but still legible.
<li>Grille appears unmarked.
