A late George III silver vinaigrette, of small rectangular form with canted corners, with stippled and punch-work decoration and borders, enclosing floral sprig to base, the hinged lid opening to a silver-gilt interior and simple diamond pierced grille, hallmarked Cocks & Bettridge, Birmingham 1814, length 2.4cm. Together with a rounded rectangular example with stippled and wriggle-work decoration and foliate-scroll pierced grille, hallmarked T Simpson & Son, Birmingham 1818, length 2.5cm.
