Full Lot Description

A selection of assorted salt and pepper pots, comprising two similar pots of elongated trophy form on stepped, square bases, having fluted, beaded and decorative border design to bodies and domed covers, hallmarked London 1898 and Birmingham 1897, plus a larger, baluster shape lobed American example, with foliate scroll motifs, stamped 'Sterling silver'. Together with further six examples of various designs, hallmarked to various makers, Birmingham 1915-1966. Overall weight 11.99 ozt (373 grams).

<li> Multiple item lot in mixed condition, all pieces displaying general surface wear, tarnishing, marks and scratches. Heavier damage to some pieces.

<li>Various items wobble on bases when pressure is applied.

<li>One example has glass liner, the others are without.

<li>Similar pots are quite darkly tarnished and show some smaller bashes, and would benefit from a clean and polish.

<li>Several items show more notable bashes to pierced covers.
