Full Lot Description
A George V silver mounted jewellery casket, of elongated, rectangular form, having plain body upon four balled feet, the shaped hinged lid attached on clasp with scrolled engraving and horizontal engine turned decoration surrounding central oval panel. Hallmarked John Henry Potter, Sheffield 1913. Length 6" (15.4cm).

<li>Item showing moderate surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing through out.
<li>Main body is extremely dark with tarnishing.
<li>Left side of main body is especially warped and bashed.
<li>Back side and hinge shows polish residue and bashing to lower rim.
<li>Hallmarks are clear and visible.
<li>Clasp lock is in good working condition.
<li>Back edge of hinged lid, towards hinge, is compressed downwards.
<li>Hinged lid shows some slight compressions and some minor dents.
<li>Hinged lid also with patches of darker tarnishing.
<li>Interior is frayed and dirty.
