A late 19th/early 20th century silver three-handled cup, the tapered base leading to a rounded cup, decorated with presentation engraving to centre, with three foliate mounted handles of curved, sinuous form. Hallmarked Wakely & Wheeler, London circa 1890-1908. Height 5.25" (13cm), weight 10.82 ozt (336.6 grams).

<li>Item shows general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing in keeping with age and use.
<li>Cup and base show minor bashing through out.
<li>Interior bowl displays some deep surface nicks.
<li>Presentation engraving reads: 'Robert Mair Memorial Cup for Long Jump (Intermediate) Presented by his parents in memory of R.E Mair (1932-1936) Flying Officer R.A.F Missing on Night Operations Berlin 23-11-1943 Presumed Killed'.
<li>Hallmarks are extremely rubbed, illegible except for the maker's mark. Date is deduced from dates this maker's mark has been recorded as seen.
