Full Lot Description
A late Victorian pierced silver mustard pot with blue glass liner, rearticulated and embossed in relief with imps, birds and green man with a cast seahorse handle and shell thumb piece, hallmarked William Comyns, London 1890. Together with a late Victorian pounce pot, of cylindrical foliate scrolled embossed form and pierced cover, hallmarked Horace Woodward & Co (Edgar Finley & Hugh Taylor), London 1892. Height of pounce pot 4" (10cm), overall weight 4.10 ozt (127.8 grams).

<li>Items are in mixed condition, with general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.
<li>Mustard pot is in poor condition, the lid with considerable losses to lid.
<li>Lid to mustard pot is bent on hinge, with one side touching the rim and the other suspended.
<li>Central body shows some bashes, breakages to pierced design and compression.
<li>Glass liner is in a/f condition.
<li>Pierced cover to pounce pot displays general bashing through out.
<li>Base to pounce pot is misshapen, warped and bashed, and wobbles when pressure is applied
<li>Both items show some dark tarnishing to decoration recesses.
