A George V silver pedestal sugar basket, the waved, fluid rim leading to geometrically pierced border and domed, spread base, having twisted detail to the swing handle and blue glass liner. Hallmarked Samuel M Levi, Birmingham 1922. Height excluding raised handle 4" (10.2cm), weight excluding glass liner 3.25 ozt (101.2 grams).

<li>Item shows general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.
<li>Silver to pierced border is quite thin and weak, and displays bashing and compression through out.
<li>Handle is self supporting.
<li>Central body shows some minor dents.
<li>Item shows some areas of darker tarnishing and polish residue, and would benefit from a clean and polish.
<li>Maker's mark is rubbed but hallmarks are clear and legible through out.
<li>Glass liner is nibbled to the interior base, and is unlikely to be original to basket.
