Full Lot Description
A George V silver double sovereign case, the rounded rectangular form with simple line borders and vacant circular panel, with push button opening to reveal two engine-turned sprung platforms, hallmarked Joseph Gloster Ltd., Birmingham 1912, length 2.25" (5.7cm). Together with another similarly decorated example of oblong shape, hallmarked Dennison Watch Case Co., Birmingham 1914. Gross weight 2.68 ozt (83.6 grams). (2).

<li>Both cases appear in fairly good overall condition, displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with their age and use.
<li>The 1912 case with small bash to one corner, and slight loss of detail to some areas of the line decoration.
<li>Both cases open and close securely with hinges and push button opening mechanism all appearing in working order; the oblong case requires a little bit of assistance to open it when button is pressed.
<li>Hallmarks to both clear and legible with some minor rubbing.
