Queen's South Africa Medal & Great War Trio (4). All awarded to Reverend H.B. de Montmorency, chaplain to the forces of 176th Company of the Imperial Yeomanry. Includes:
1. Queen's South Africa AR Medal with two clasps. 1899. Engraver, George William de Saulles. VICTORIA REGINA ET IMPERATRIX, crowned and veiled bust to left, G. W. de Saulles (engraver's initials) on truncation / SOUTH AFRICA, Britannia standing before army, holding flag and wreath. Edge inscription: 43728 PTE H. B. DE MONTMORENCY 176th COY IMP YEO. Clasps: SOUTH AFRICA 1902, CAPE COLONY. 42.53g, 36mm diam., 105mm length (inc. ribbon).
2. 1914-15 Æ Star. 1918. Crowned four pointed star bearing crossed swords, overset with wreath; 1914-15 on banner across / REV. H. B. DE MONTMORENCY. A. C. D. 26.56g, 44mm diam., 113mm length (inc. ribbon).
3. George V AR British War Medal. 1914-1920. Engraver, Sir Bertram Mackennal. GEORGE V BRITT: OMN: REX ET IND: IMP:, head to left, B.M. (engraver's initials) on truncation / 1914-1918, St. George on horseback to right, emblems of death beneath feet. Edge inscription: REV. H. B. DE MONTMORENCY. 34.67g, 37mm diam., 97mm length (inc. ribbon).
4. Victory Æ Medal. 1919. Victory holding palm / THE GREAT WAR FOR CIVILISATION 1914-1919 in four lines within wreath. Edge inscription: REV. H. B. DE MONTMORENCY. 32.86g, 36mm diam., 109mm length (inc. ribbon).
