Full Lot Description
A Victorian silver salver, the circular form with floral-scroll pierced rim, enclosing engraved fruit and floral bouquets to the centre within scrolled cartouches, and raised on three foliate-scroll feet. Hallmarked George John Richards, London 1851. Maximum diameter 33cm, weight 29.96ozt (931.8g).

Condition Report
- Displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.
- With some residues of dried and blackened polish to some areas.
- Some surface rubbing to areas of the engraved decoration causing slight loss of detail or definition, but overall the decoration still appears bright.
- On the reverse of the floral-scroll rim, there are some patches where the surface appears a little lumpy and uneven, and there is a further small circular patch where the surface appears pitted.
- Slight knocks to the feet, although the salver stands firm.
- Hallmarks slightly rubbed but all still clear and legible.
