A Victorian silver christening mug, the cylindrical form engraved with leafy branches surrounding personal inscription 'Dora on birthday 1877'. Hallmarked William Evans, London 1876. Height to handle 8.8cm, weight 4.38ozt (136g). In fitted leather presentation case.

Condition Report
- Appears in fairly good overall condition.
- Displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.
- Main rim is very slightly misshapen.
- Traces of gilding to interior.
- With some minor edge nicks around rims.
- Hallmarks located below rim to one side of handle and these are clear and legible.
- Further marked to base with retailer Hardy Bros. Sydney.
- Case with some general expected wear, scuffs, fading and minor losses; purple material lining also with Hardy Brothers retailers stamp.
