  • Both pieces displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing, commensurate with age and use.
  • The maker's mark on the toothpick holder is located to the base of the foot rim and is clean and clear; also on the base, opposite the mark, there is a small gap, but this is possibly where the metal joined so therefore part of the construction.
  • The circular pot bears a mark around the rim 'V.75'; the lid appears unmarked.
  • The pot tests around 80% Ag overall.
  • Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
  • Fellows does not guarantee the standard of silver unless an item is hallmarked. Results from electronically tested items should only be used as a guide and with caution, as false readings are possible.
  • Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
