Full Lot Description
A silver-gilt and enamel minaudiere, of oval cylindrical form with black enamel stripe decoration and interwoven blue enamel border detail, with removable pencil, and opening to three hinged compartments and a mirror. Hallmarked Scholl Ltd., Glasgow import, possibly 1924. Length 8.5cm. With black cord attachment.

Condition Report
- Displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.
- Some minor losses to enamel.
- With some heavier wear and minor nicks or knocks around edges.
- Black cord attachment on one end; the other end has a damaged loop attachment so there was possibly a chain or tassel attached.
- Solder repair visible to clasp, although the hinges and clasp all appear in working order and it closes securely.
- Interior hinged compartments also appear in working order, although one cover does not close securely and rises again when closed.
- Hallmarks clear and legible; further marked 925 to other parts.
