A late 19th century gold, synthetic ruby and diamond point brooch, depicting a dog toying with two rats in a funnel.

Length 5.3cms. 3.7gms.

Scratches and varied marks. General discolouration.
Pitting and small marks to the bar.
Small dent to the funnel edge.
Dog forearm with loss of texture.
Diamonds appear relatively bright and well matched.
Estimated total diamond weight under 0.10ct.
Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
Synthetic rubies appear well matched. Minimal abrasions.
