Lot Description

A late Victorian to Edwardian 15ct gold demantoid garnet frog brooch, with pink sapphire cabochon eyes.

Stamped 15ct.
Length 3.2cms. 3.2gms.

Surface scratches and minor marks.
General dirt.
Brooch is hollow form, one foot shows minor dents and slight casting marks.
Demantoid garnets appear bright with light yellow green through deep medium moderately yellowish green hues.
One garnet chipped, general nicks/nibbles and abrasion.
Sapphires appear a well matched light medium pink.
Pin is slightly dented, pin hinge slightly loose.
