A Louis Vuitton bag celebrating the 35th America’s Cup is up for auction at Fellows. The uniquely designed luggage accessory was created in 2017 to celebrate the prestigious competition, which is the yachting equivalent of the Grand Prix. Louis Vuitton, a partner of the competition, released the elegant collection, which included items decorated with the America’s Cup yellow “V Gaston” pattern. This Damier Regatta Keepall Bandoulière 55 luggage bag features as Lot 267 in Fellows’ Designer Collection, ending on Monday 7th September. It has an estimate of £900 - £1,400.

The world’s most prestigious yacht race was founded in 1851. The 35th America’s Cup took place in Bermuda, with Emirates Team New Zealand defeating Oracle Team USA. The 36th Cup is set to take place in Auckland next year. Louis Vuitton released a diverse collection inspired by the cup, with this particular bag featuring rolled leather top handles and an optional adjustable nylon cross-body strap.

The bag is designed with the maker's oversized dark blue damier coated canvas exterior. It also features a top zip fastening and one interior zip pocket. Fellows also has an Admiral's Cup Chronograph bracelet watch by Corum up for auction in their Luxury Watch Sale, taking place on Monday 24th August. Continuing on the sailing theme, the watch was released as a collection celebrating the international yachting regatta. This specific Corum watch has an estimate of £1,500 - £2,000.
