Lot Description

A George III silver caddy spoon, the oval bowl to a curved stem and all decorated with punched and stippled borders. Hallmarked London (assumed) 1800, maker's mark GB, probably for George Burrows (I). Length measuring 7.2 cm, weight 10.6 grams.

The spoon displays some tarnishing throughout and would benefit from a clean and polish. General surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with age and use. Very slight dint to the handle. Bowl appears to have faired quite well. Hallmarks are clear and legible with some minor rubbing.
