Lot Description

A late Victorian miniature silver chamberstick, of heart shape with gadroon decoration, hallmarked William Comyns & Sons Ltd., Birmingham 1892. Together with five other miniature items to include a floral and scroll embossed purse, Birmingham 1901, a folding knife with corkscrew, Chester 1908, a twin-handled trophy, Birmingham 1909, a Welsh hat, Birmingham 1910, and a further chamberstick with Austria-Hungary dog head 800 guarantee mark. Gross weight 36.8 grams. (6).

All pieces displaying some expected general surface wear, marks and scratches and tarnishing. Some dints and creases, most notably to edges of heart chamberstick and hat and around the foot of the trophy. Hinge and clasp of purse appears in good working order. Some rubbing and slight distortion to some of the hallmarks but they are mostly clear and legible.
