A Russian silver belt buckle, of shaped design with foliate engraving surrounding central script, secured together via clasp modelled as a dagger on chain, with alternating scroll and stud decoration to belt material. Stamped with combined St Petersburg and standard mark circa 1882-1899. Length 64cm.

- Item is in tired condition, showing moderate surface scratches, marks and wear.
- Silver is very darkly tarnished, and would benefit from a clean and polish.
- Material is worn and thread worn to areas.
- Edges to buckle are a little rough and uneven.
- Scroll and stud decoration show some bending and bashing.
- All scroll and stud decoration is also hallmarked.
- Gross weight is inclusive of belt material.
